The specific services we provide, deliverables, timeline, and pricing for any engagement are defined in a separate proposal, invoice, or agreement between Smith Developments and the client. These Terms apply in addition to, not in place of, anything agreed there. If the two conflict, the specific agreement governs.

Because our work involves real time and effort from the point an engagement begins, payments already made for work completed or in progress are generally non-refundable. Any refund exceptions are handled case by case — reach out and we'll work with you.
Clients are responsible for providing timely feedback, content, access credentials, and approvals needed to complete a project. Delays in providing these may delay project timelines. Clients are also responsible for the accuracy of any business information (name, address, phone, service details) they provide for use in listings, ads, or their website.
Either party may cancel an ongoing/recurring engagement with written notice, per the notice period stated in the client's specific agreement (30 days if none is otherwise specified). Smith Developments may suspend or terminate services for non-payment or a violation of these Terms. Fees already paid for work completed are not refunded on cancellation.
SEO, Google Business Profile, and advertising results depend on factors outside our control, including search engine and ad platform algorithm changes, competition, and market conditions. We do not guarantee specific rankings, traffic, lead counts, or revenue outcomes. We do commit to doing the work in good faith, using practices consistent with each platform's guidelines.
Our services may involve third-party platforms — including Google (Search, Business Profile, Ads, Analytics), Meta (Facebook/Instagram Ads), hosting providers, and scheduling tools. Those platforms have their own terms and policies, which are outside our control, and we are not responsible for their outages, policy changes, or account actions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Smith Developments is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services or your use of our website, including lost profits or lost business opportunities. Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
You may not use this website in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it, or interfere with anyone else's use of it, including attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or its underlying systems.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
